Children of the Machine explores the intersection where humanity and technology begin to merge.
Each work begins as an idea shaped by photography, history, conflict, robotics, memory, and contemporary technology. I use custom software to transform these concepts into stencil designs, refining them until they can exist as physical objects.
The stencils are then 3D printed, fabricated, and used to create the final artwork through spray paint, textured surfaces, masking, layering, and controlled imperfections.
That process is central to the work. Digital information becomes a physical tool; the tool creates an image; and the image becomes an artifact.
Throughout the series, machines appear alongside symbols of childhood, war, destruction, faith, and human vulnerability. The contrast is intentional.
Children of the Machine is ultimately about what we create, what our creations become, and what remains of us as the boundary between human and machine becomes increasingly difficult to define.
